Working with a 15-member Citizens Advisory Committee, four stakeholder focus groups, and the King County Landmarks Commission, the King County Historic Preservation Program (HPP) has prepared a review draft of the King County Historic Preservation Program Strategic Plan 2013-2020 and now seeks your review and comment.
The draft Plan provides background and a summary of challenges facing the HPP; a description of the planning process; and proposed goals, objectives and actions for the program for the next seven years.
The Plan also outlines how the HPP will track its progress in implementing the plan and contains recommendations for distribution of Historical Preservation and Historical Programs Fund (HPHP) revenues. The final Plan will be prepared at the end of July.
The Plan is available on the web here. Comments can be made via an online response form until July 14 or by e-mail or U.S. mail until that date.
