Washington State Preservation and Main Street Conference
Keynote speaker Charles Marohn, Jr., president of the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization Strong Towns, will speak about community design and sustainability. This group has introduced a new model of sustainable growth that allows America’s towns to become financially secure and self-sufficient by establishing an approach to development that accounts for the full cost of growth.
The conference will also celebrate achievements in preservation and revitalization in Washington’s Main Street Network. The conference will take place in Vancouver this year.
