Museum of Flight

An exhibition of paintings and drawings depicting America’s first African American military pilots, the Tuskegee Airmen, is now showing at the Museum of Flight. “Red Tails, Silver Wings: Paintings of Tuskegee Airmen by Chris Hopkins” is an original exhibit by artist Chris Hopkins done in cooperation with the Museum. As a commercial illustrator working in the entertainment industry, Hopkins has produced posters for major movies and professional sports posters, as well as album covers. This exhibit includes 28 paintings (three on loan from the Pentagon) and 15 charcoal drawings. The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E Marginal Way S alongside Boeing Field.
