The 2018 AKCHO Awards Program is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, at the Northwest African American Museum. Preceding the event, the AKCHO Awards Committee identifies, researches, and compiles a list of potential award recipients for each category. After careful deliberation, the Committee submits a slate of recommendations for award recipients in each category to the AKCHO Board for approval in early March.
The Awards Committee still most sincerely welcomes your recommendations for worthy projects, events, persons, or organizations. Review the Award Categories that are listed on the Awards Page of AKCHO’s website and in the sidebar on the right side of that page, click on the Nomination Form to submit basic information concerning your suggestions to the Committee.
