In this presentation, Sarah Steen (Landmarks Coordinator for King County) outlines a recent initiative to review the existing landmark nominations for historic properties around King County. This project aims to identify underrepresented communities or people who should have been included as significant in the history of a potential landmark and revise nominations in order to offer a more complete story of the region’s past.
