White River Valley Museum

This exhibit covers pitfalls, pratfalls, hotboxes, split switches, telescoped trains, boiler explosions and derailments on the NPR’s sometimes bumpy journey over the Northwest. Photographs and documents relating to Northwest wrecks from NPR’s own James M. Fredrickson and Ron Nixon will be on display, along with pictures donated by long-time Auburn Wreck Foreman Roman L. Polski. John Phillips III is the guest curator for “Wrecked!â€
The White River Valley Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 4 PM and is located at 918 H Street SE in Auburn. Regular admission is $2 adults, $1 seniors and children.
